Are these
just like the Futons back home?
Yes, these American Futon Sofa Beds are known as a 'Futon' outside
of Japan. An American designer used a traditional Japanese
futon to fit his wooden frame in the 1960s and the industry
has evolved to have many various styles of frames, mattresses,
covers and accessories.
What
sizes do you have?
We carry single, double and full size futon frames, mattresses and covers. The sizes are standard for the International market. You can see the dimensions
for each frame on the Bi-fold or Tri-fold frame page. The mattress sizes
can be found at the bottom of the mattress page.
Do I need
to use a cover with my American Futon Sofa Bed?
You don't have to use a cover, but it is recommended because
it will protect your mattress (the mattress fits inside the
cover) and is removable for easy cleaning. You are able to
choose from a variety patterns and colors to give it the look
you want. See the covers page to see the selection.
How much
is shipping?
In the Kanto area, a frame or mattress is Y2,625. Complete
details are in the Delivery section.
How do I
order?
You can order by clicking on the Order button on the left side of the menu. Your order will be sent to us and we'll contact you
immediately about delivery and payment. You may also order phone call or fax.
How do I
pay?
You can pay in cash at the shop or make a payments by bank transfer. You do not need a bank
account to do this and it's easy even if you can't speak or read Japanese. Please feel free to
contact us if you need help with this.
How is
delivery done?
Your order will be delivered by an employee of Rennos or through
a delivery company. See the delivery section of our home page for details and prices. You may
pick up your order from our Showroom in Meguro, Tokyo.
How long
does delivery take?
We keep stock in Japan and your order will be processed and
sent out immediately. Delivery normally takes 2-3 days depending on
where you live in Japan. You will be able to select the day and time you would like to receive delivery on the order page.
Can I get
the frame or mattress upstairs or through a small doorway?
No problem. The frame unassembled and you should have no problem
getting it into any room. We have sold thousands and never has a customer not been able to bring it into their house. This is another benefit of an American
Futon Sofa Bed.
How do
I assemble the American Futon Sofa Bed or Platform Bed frame?
Assembly is easy. All the instructions (in Japanese and English)
and all parts for assembly are included.
How does the American Futon Sofa Bed or other furniture arrive?
The wooden frames will arrive well packed in a cardboard box. Mattresses arrives inside a strong plastic bag.
Are the
prices on the home page and in the showroom the same?
Yes.
Do you have
a guarantee?
All products have a one year warranty against defects in manufacturing
and materials under normal use.
